Like the name, this cake is very beautiful with a bright color display. This traditional cake is better known as a typical Betawi snack. The sweet taste and chewy texture make this sweet pretty cake favored by people. Ingredients:

  • 100 g hunkwe flour
  • 130 g granulated sugar
  • 900 ml water
  • 50 g Morinaga Chil School Gold strawberry flavor
  • 1 teaspoon strawberry paste/pink food coloring
  • ¼ teaspoon fine salt
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla powder
  • 100 g strawberry, cut into pieces

How to make:

1. Dissolve hunkwe flour with coconut milk, salt, sugar, Morinaga Chil School Gold strawberry flavor, vanilla powder, and water. Stir well.

2. Boil the hunkwe mixed until it’s boiled. Lift it.

3. While still hot, put 1 pcs of strawberry and 2 tablespoon of the dough into mica plastic. Wrap it as you like.

4. Chill until it hardens. Do it until the dough runs out.

5. Arrange the cakes on a serving plate. Serve it.
