Usually tomato is used as a garnish for a little one’s dish. In the end it will be left aside on a plate because little one doesn’t like tomatoes. But not anymore, Mom!

Morinaga has an interesting recipe that will make little one love tomatoes. Not as a vegetable, but a baked stuffed tomato with meat and mozzarella cheese filling. Hmm...just from the name alone it’s already tempting, right? Let's just go ahead, follow the recipe below, Mom.

Ingredients:

Seasoning:

  • 30 g onion, chopped it
  • 2 cloves of garlic, chopped it
  • ½ teaspoon ground pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chopped celery
  • 1 tablespoon salty soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • ½ teaspoon nutmeg powder
  • ½ teaspoon fine salt

For 4 Servings

How to make:

  1. Mix the mince meat with bread crumbs, Morinaga Chil School Platinum MoriCare Zigma Vanilla flavor powder milk, egg, garlic, onion, and other seasonings. Stir well.
  2. Cut the edges of the tomatoes, remove the seeds.
  3. Fill the meat mixture into the tomato. Cover the top with chunks of mozzarella cheese.
  4. Spread the margarine and bake it in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 35 minutes or until done. Lift.
  5. Arrange on a serving plate. Serve it warm as a side dish.

Tip: Tomato can be replaced with paprika.

 

If it’s baked properly, the nutrition in the tomatoes won’t reduce significantly. Most important is make sure the grill temperature is right so it’s not easily burnt. The use of margarine also shouldn’t be excessive. And adjust the baking duration to the level that little one likes. That way, Mom’s baked tomatoes are more delicious and nutritious.
