Pregnancy Preparation Entering Third Trimester

During pregnancy, pregnant Moms will experience various challenges and various pregnancy conditions. There are three steps that happen during pregnancy which are grouped to three trimesters such as first, second and third trimester.

At the first trimester, Mom’s body is adjusting with the hormonal changes and preparation to provide protection for the fetus. Then, at the second trimester, the fetus starts to form the body organs, five senses, and starts to feel the stimulation and sensation. At the end of the second trimester, the fetus is able to move around regularly. Usually, the fetus will move around and be active at night.

Every trimester has a different challenge that Mom should go through, it’s not different with the third trimester too. Here are the tips for Mom during the third trimester pregnancy.

Fetus Size Enlargement

Along with Mom’s pregnancy getting older, the fetus also grows which makes Mom’s stomach size get bigger. This enlargement can press the nerves around the uterus. The older the pregnancy, signs of life inside are getting real and various symptoms can Mom feels. Here are the various symptoms caused by the fetus enlargement that Mom feels.

  1. Sleep Disorders

Beside it’s hard to find a nice sleep position, when pregnant, Mom also experiences one other disturbance which is frequent urination. This is because the fetus inside is actively moving at night and resting in the morning till afternoon that often makes movement volume increase. It’s not just that, the fetus enlargement makes the bladder pressed so it makes a problem with the bladder and pain in the crotch area. Mom’s back also painful followed by pelvis area and hips because of weight gain

  1. Bleeding

Bleeding happens sometimes because of some causes. Some of them are placenta previa which grows in cervix, loose placenta from cervix, and many possible serious problems. If the bleeding occurs at the third trimester, it’s best for Mom to check it immediately to the obstetrician to know the true problem.

  1. Mild Contractions

Mild contractions or false contractions are marked by the muscles of the uterus tighten and make Mom’s stomach tense. Different from the real contraction, mild contraction happens only around 30 seconds and no more than twice per hour and occurs several times a day. While the real contraction will make Mom’s face turn red and run out of breath after the contraction. If Mom experiences this, contact your obstetrician immediately.

Preparing for birth

In the eighth or ninth month of pregnancy, Mom should get ready to welcome birth. Use a bra special for pregnant Moms that support the enlargement of the breasts so Mom doesn’t feel too tired, physically prepared to keep healthy with pregnancy exercise regularly.

While to resolve the sleeping disorder, Mom can add more pillows under your lap when you sleep sideways so you can feel more comfortable. Beside that, your pajama should be made from comfortable material because in this period Mom will feel hot in the stomach and chest area. Those are what Mom should do and prepare beside taking care of you mentally to keep calm and happy in welcoming your baby.
